Academic English Program (AEP):
The Academic English Program is designed to help international students make rapid progress toward their academic language goals. Students wishing to attend an American university benefit from this program.

Four levels of intensive English study are offered in addition to the Beginning English Program.

Twenty to twenty-five hours of instruction per week.

Intermediate - Levels One and Two
Classes consist of grammar, oral communication, and written communication. Full-time students at the Intermediate level can expect to have twenty-five hours of instruction per week.

Advanced - Levels Three and Four
Classes consist of grammar, oral communication, written communication, selected topics, and capstone courses for undergraduate and graduate students. Full-time students at the advanced level can expect to have about twenty-two hours of instruction per week.

Academic classes are complemented by conversation partners, fields trips, and activities.

Students who successfully complete Levels One through Four will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Students who have completed the Intermediate Level and do not plan to study at an American university may choose English for International Communication.
